    I'll take this seriously.

    Plot -
    Such is key in almost any server. If there is no plot, if there is no story its following things can get a bit dull quickly. A Steady pacing and following the lore, be it with anything is always appreciated.

    Freedom -
    I can appreciate cityRP/Encampment RP etc, etc. But I would vastly prefer FORP/Outlands to city HL2RP anyday. The freedom to do what you want and not be hassled by admins/driven away from doing something as well due to OOC bullying or the admins disliking you, persay trying to mug someone? It's quite lame.

    Quality Roleplay -
    I'm sure this goes without saying, but! If the roleplay on the server is just mindless shooting or the people aren't very good at such? I mean /me shoots etc etc, things get dull quite fast. That's really about it.

    What I seek for a server is something custom, not the same generic HL2 City RP (*Cough* @Canoness *cough*) . A custom schema is always what attracts me, Viral Trouble, Halo Spartan Ops, Cyberpunk, HLC, Cider Two, all those things attract me since they're not too overused.

    That should fall under freedom, to be fair.

    While anyone should be able to join, players should be allowed to create and make factions freely. That's the fun of RP, Trial and Error is a lot of what goes on.

    i look at the highest ranking cps, and then i look at their steam profiles. and then i ask in ooc "how do i get cp" and if its forums, i check their application format and look at past applications that had been accepted. then, i look at the quality of those and either cringe or be impressed.
    if its ic apps, i leave the server
    lol

    edit - i honestly dont give a fuck about anything else
    i gave up on being serious about hl2rp like a year ago
