Trading Hobby

One of my hobbies is trading and my first payday will be today, just listed my first large item on steam:



I've still got knives and some skins, just wondering if any of you guys have stories of how you've made big money from trading or any stories from when you didn't make as much as you started with? I know from my view I've "Lost" some profits from stupid deals and trading. Would be interesting to hear, this includes all trading from csgo, tf2, dota and other steam items. But yeah any of you guys also get lucky from opening crates and selling off the items or owning a weapon thats increased over time lets hear it

I started trading febuary this month and before you guys call me rich or something, I have only spent about ?10 on csgo for skins ever and when I started trading I only had a gut knife safari mesh however now my inventory looks something like:



As you can see you could say i'm quite successful at trading but I find it quite fun to trade and seeing your profits slowly rise over time and getting skins you like, Any other traders out there?

 

I used to hoard weapons in TF2 in hopes of selling them.

They still sit there till this day.

I had no idea what I was doing.

 

CS:GO trading is far more profitable then TF2 trading.

crates alone can sell for about .50 cents or whatever that is in ur brit bong country that makes your currencies into question marks 4 me.

tf2 crates are worth like less then a penny

 

Only if it is a fully faded sand dune pattern

Basically the trader had no idea that full fades were worth more and so I ended up paying for it for the same price as a non-full faded one

Also he didn't even bother asking me to overpay for the upgrade
