    idk everyone says SNL is so funny sometimes but i just dont see the appeal. i guess i have a different taste of humor

    SNL is commonly said to "not be funny anymore" but that's because its sketch comedy and has growing years
    Also the writers and players are all a certain age group, so their humor is generally pointed at that group.
    I think there's a certain bit that comes from following it too. Some hosts are bad, some sketches are bad, but there's a certain amount of intensity that comes with doing 2 hours of skits once a week, with a week to write and prepare.
