HL2RP [UPDATED] Innovtaive Minds: Canals Roleplay

Greetings dear reader, You may of seen our server via a past announcement informing you that it would become a Outlands server. Due to development and hosting issues we have decided to move to a more friendly, and interesting server orientation: Canals. We will now have a more quality server and a improved administration team, Along with a more or less lag free map. With our new head of development the progress of the server is becoming greater by the day. The content issue has been fixed and It will not be to long till the server is released, But the more patient the community is the better the quality of the product. We are sorry for the delay on the release, And we know some people wanted to see Outlands but I would like to assure you know. Canals will be better.

Factions:

These are the main inhabitants of the Canals, they can be a variety of things including: Resistance, Traders, Refugees, Doctors, Mechanics, Scavengers, Radio Operators, Drivers, Guards and so much more. This is the base faction of the server, There are no custom classes for what you are. You develop into one of these roles. Everyone will start of with this faction and it can evolve into something greater than a whitelist.

These are the equivalent of the Metro Police Force in Canals. They are the, Local Hazardous Containment Force. They are a group of MPF Units that have been chosen to operate in Task forces inside the Canals. They are specialized with radiation proof equipment and enhanced respirators. They are usually found patrolling and taking down various resistance hard points. They have been implemented to balance out control, Yes there is an OTA Presence within canals but to avoid one side being so strong we have made the LHCF A Permanent force and the OTA Being not so frequent and only on special occasions. The LHCF Wont be all around like City MPF They will be protecting the Union Zone and doing sweeps.

A Group of Genetically Enhanced Combine Soldiers for heavy duty use in areas of high aggression and combat, These are a rare sight in canals and are usually called in for sweeps or raids. They can be mostly seen in large events or sweeping the under side of the Union Areas. OTA In the Canals are something to be afraid of, They can strike at any moment and can destroy a camp in mere seconds. You never know when they will strike or when they are watching.

These Xenian creatures roam the Canals in decent numbers, they are commonly found in main resistance camps and living in small groups in the lowest parts of the canals. They are usually kind to any human life if it is not aggressive, but despise the Combine Forces. They have known to be very dangerous when it comes to certain forms of energy based attacks that can cause Organ Failure, Or Temporary Blindness.

This category can fall into, Zombies, Antlions, Etc, Etc. They are things that don't want to make friends in short. These types of creatures will wipe you off the face of the Canals. Watch out for coming in contact for one of these, they pose a threat to you and the Combine. Make sure you have something to defend yourself or with someone who can protect you. They are very common in the canals and can pop up at any corner, Various zones are safe of infection using blockades and guards.

Server Lore: (WIP)
The Date is the Nineteenth of December 2018, The canals has become the most populated area that falls into the Wasteland outside of City 17. The Combine have recently attempted a large raid on the Canals, It was not a success. But they did however take over Alpha District pushing us back into Camp Minerva. This is the new Resistance Operation Center for now, We have built up new buildings and refurbished old ones. The Radio Tower, Barracks and Medical Room have been built and we have equipped the Camp for residential accommodation. Administrator Jacobs is still determined to send his newly created forces that have been specialized for the Canals into the heart of the base. We do not know why they want to populate the Canals so badly, We are assuming to find the paths to the Coast. As I write this a small team of Overwatch Soldiers are outside the Three floor and are looking for something. I don't know what. We'll see I guess, Right now we have a large influx of citizens coming in as our friends in the Industrial District have opened up the path to allow the entrance from there to our Canals. This place will be flooded with Civies' any time soon, That's good for Market Street but we'll need to get supplies in order. We have managed to begin to grow a few plants but they aren't making progress. God I hope we can make it....

Also, having those one or two people being faction leaders for like three factions (with conflicting interests) is a bad idea. Also you typoed your name in the thread title.

One thing I really don't like about any RP server is when owners and Super Admin's think they're entitled to lead everything.

Like, shit, why not give to the players instead? You're going to expect your admins to lead more than one faction, and hold head moderator positions at the same time? That's going to be a lot of work you're putting on their part.
Other than that, thread looks okay at best, there really hasn't been much effort put into the lore and the faction descriptions are really vague. I'd really pick up on that if you ever decide to update this.
