GreenVorpal here, about two weeks ago, I started a community called Vorpal Gaming... We are a fairly new serious HL2RP server, trying to rebuild after a dispute between staff members. The server is currently under new management regarding super admins. We have friendly staff and players, this includes EU/US players and staff whom are always willing to help those in need. We temporarily offering In-Character applications aswell.

Doesn't seem so serious when you can't uphold a thread to catch my eye.

The thread is seriously lacking like... Everything. From what I'm looking at right now, I'd rather join a DarkRP (And DarkRP is fucking horrible trash).

Also, 'we temporarily offering' doesn't even make sense. Should be "we're", I also don't understand what's the point in 'temporarily' offering In-Character applications. Shouldn't a whitelist be given out to those who know how to properly roleplay? Not those who know how to type an application using a template and use spell-check to correct themselves?

With large communities, OOC applications are almost needed. It's sad but true.

 

Not doing this because I personally hate the Owner and/or his staff and not because I was banned, I was a former Head Admin at the server, I assisted with forums, plugins and other little bits and bobs but then decided to demote myself and leave after the owner made some random person who had destroyed past commuinties Super Administrator, even without mine and other peoples consent or knowing about it.

I would not recommend this at all, the RP lacks a lot, the staff sit in out of the map reach bases and do not bother RPing with new comers, the staff is chosen due to favoritism and friends of the HA/Owner, by this I mean if the owners friend joins the server they will get Admin. I'm not saying It's a bad thing but if your friend is a bad staff member and you decide to give him staff just because he is your friend then you need to re-think your way of administrating your server.

By what I've seen the staff has gotten worse, not better. But hey, don't listen to my word.
Was going to give the server a look at with this apparently new 'revamp' but It seems I'm banned, however the forums do look better then MyBB.

I /was/ banned, now you unbanned me after calling you out on the ban you placed on me. I've just refreshed my Forum page and checked server status, yeh I'm unbanned.

I'll give the server a look through, lets see if anything has changed, shall we?

Right so, there was only 4 - 5 Players on at the time so I understand lack of RP would've been down.
But seriously, I see the server no different then other ones, the staff is badly chosen (In my opinion), most of them are un-serious and I also heard your Super Administrator Dobbes contacted a former player of VG which was Vulcaneer and started to act cocky about Vulc not being on VG and about Dobbes gaining SuperAdmin promotion.

And in my honest opinion most of the staff seems very lazy.

Verdict, including forums, staff and general community.

I tried this server and all it really had was the TnB models.

nothing to spectacular.

2.5/10, shameful.

 

So It seems that I got re-banned after this thread was no longer replied to, I'm guessing the ban was set because I gave negative feedback or something? Pretty immature if you ask me.
