http://000webhost.com is the first to come to mind. Free host != they force you to use specific forum software.

 

I'm not even the one choosing to freehost, I just take care of the forum & make sure everything works on it. I'm pretty sure Sixx is switching to paid host as soon as everything is sorted out & knows it'll work, saves money if the project doesn't work.

You'll be paying hundreds if a decent mapper is doing the job while it's not of his/her interest.

 

That's up to the mapper to decide if it's in their interest, I'll pay whatever I offer for it and if they take it then it doesn't matter how much they want to do it, if there's money involved then there's still the incentive to finish it.

Honestly, I think you'd be better off using an already made map. Or maybe learn it yourself and merge a part of a necro map with an outlands map, but you'll have to cut it up A LOT if you don't want to hit the brush limit.

 

I was thinking about necro evocity, because that has a lot of driving space and looks spectacular, but it's a hassle for people to get a hold of the map :L

Nah, I mean, it's on the Workshop but it's split into three seperate addons because it's that big, and people shouldn't have to use Google, getting a map should be a two step process. It's all about convenience n' shit.

 

That's not including the .bsp as well. The three packs are just content.

Edit; Also, the Necro maps are made with the L4D2 Authoring Tools. You can tell because most of the map is ripped from Dark Carnival. :L
