WARPAC
"Communism isn't sleeping; it is, as always, plotting, scheming, working, fighting."
Khrushchev looked up from the report and nodded, a bead of sweat rolling down his brow. "This is genocide, Mr. President.", quipped the figure at the other end of the table. Khrushchev locked his gaze on the figure and coldly replied, "No, comrade. This is war."
And so the fleet turned from Cuba and began the long journey back to the homeland, as per the direct orders from Khrushchev. The US missiles remained on the Turkish border as the Americans celebrated their victory over the Soviet Union. It wasn't until two weeks later that the intentions of the Soviets became clear.
The first report of sickness arose from Washington D.C itself, and it wasn't long before it was a nation-wide epidemic. People were urged to stay in their homes and avoid contact with anyone outside. Riots plagued a majority of the country with the implemented martial law having little effect on the chaos. T.V stations dropped off the air, telephone lines went down and eventually electricity itself went offline. The entire nation fell silent.
A month later, the U.S.S.R began the first of many routine spy plane flights to scour the remains of the once bustling U.S.A. Their initial reports showed no signs of life, and all reports after that showed no deviations. The sickness spilled through U.S borders and collapsed anything it touched.
And so began the Soviet occupation of the world.

Note to controversy:
As some of you may have heard, there was a recent incident involving the community in which WARPAC was created under. Myself and Danny, the owners of the late 'Deviant Gamers' decided to shut down the community, due to issues within the community. There was a misunderstanding in which some of our members believed we ran off with donations for our own good. After opening up and explaining to our ex-members the reasons behind the swift shut-down, amends were made and the threads containing said controversy were taken off of Cloud Sixteen, to the benefit of both parties.
Those of you who had viewed the old thread may have noticed a complete overhaul in the story-line. This was done for two reasons. The first reason is that one of our previous staff members worked with myself to create the WARPAC timeline and canon. We have since broken ties with the mentioned staff member, and out of respect for their work on the project we have decided not to use any of their content. The name WARPAC however, will stay, as this was decided upon by myself. The second reason is that the name 'WARPAC' had very little to do with the previous canon. The Warsaw Pact (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Pact) was entirely a cold war document rather than a second world war document, and so the name had no place in the previous story-line.
We hope that this clears up any questions you may have had about the previous controversy. If you still have any questions, feel free to add me on steam: http://steamcommunity.com/id/bl00dprime/
