Welp. Rest in Peace Fearless Roleplay

This server introduced me to Garrysmod, clockwork roleplay (even though its not clockwork k) and a lot of my friends who have shaped my views. As it turns out, the owner (Soul) has been making a lot of money off of it. Reference this thread. All but three of the admins resigned. The admins are cool dudes, but apparently the owner isn't.

I read it all and wow, he seems like a bit of a twat really.

The admins sounded like they knew what they were doing and I hope their server works out well.

 

He was. If on the rare occasion he actually joined the server he was rude to a lot of people. They gave out "RP points" to people who roleplay which in turns unlocks certain purchasables from their shop and Soulripper (and a few admins) only gave them to friends and people who bribe them rip

Glad to see that our resignations have been heard all throughout the Garry's Mod world! It is definitely a sad day in history for Fearless, as the community was certainly great and has lasted many years (since 2008). Luckily we have a staff team that is looking to move on and develop our community to be free of bias and also be MUCH more transparent on the number and amount of donations that come in. This money should be primarily used for server development and not pocketed for lavish personal expenditures. We are strong and we have many from our community coming to back us as we make our transition into our new community. FearlessRP will of course waddle through the challenges it is being faced with, but it will not be the same without the staff team that it had.

 

I hope your new server works out well, maybe once its up create a thread on the communities board so even more people can see it.

 

I resigned once. Owner was a cunt,gave a donator SA because he donated.

Meh, not really. It was a good way to restrict certain things to like, confirmed not minges.

 

But if they were only given out to the owners friends and people who like bribed him then there was no real point.

 

It wasn't the fact Soul (owner) gave RPPs to his friends, that wasn't really an issue and I don't actually recall it happening much. It was all the other stuff and just the general lack of ability to keep in contact with the team.

 

Ah, well Soul will regret his decisions now that most of his team left.

 

Never said it was the owner giving them out tho
