What happened to Cider Two?

Discussion in 'Discussion' started by Jan Walton, Oct 12, 2014.

  1. Cider Two

I remember playing Cider Two in Gmod 11 and 12 and it seemed to be well
populated but ever since Gmod 13 came
it had died and has been like that ever since and I wanted to know why.

Also I noticed that it was missing some of the most basic features like not being able to loot decreased corpses, and there is no "Paramedic" job.

because I mentioned it. no jk, I know he didn't start working on it completely because of me. but I did mention it and 2 seconds later kuro made a thread about reporting bugs and worked on it

right after I said that, kuro started making an update and made a bug reporting thread. Or maybe it was just a coincidence.

  5. oh hell no. HL2RP's the most popular schema by far, and its reputation is tarnished. All C16 and GMod attention turn to that over any other schema, and I have not once seen a plugin (or remotely successful server) for anything except HL2RP (apart from Gr4ss's armor plugin items for New Vegas, but that's it, and New Vegas is officially scrapped now). Cider Two on the other hand has been largely unfinished without a chance of being anywhere close to something popular. If anything, it/Phase Four deserve the most attention. Maybe the Clockwork-unique sequels that aren't ports from openAura that were promised around two years ago should get some attention instead of focusing on C2/P4/HL2RP. I'm not trying to criticize kuro here, but I was largely excited for Clockwork in order to see the updated City Life (that's what i think Cider Two's sequel was named) or Evolution (Phase Four's planned sequel).

    sants1 I'm an asshole. That's all.

Evolution is a nice looking schema.

Not that I've ran it on box before.
