HL2RP What happened to the HL2RP font?

I remember about three years ago, HL2RP used to have this font when you look at players, in the menus, etc.: http://www.dafont.com/mailart-rubberstamp.font

But, at least for me, it hasn't been there for a long time on any server. Is this intentional?

 

Did you install the font from the resources folder? If not, it doesn't use it.

 

Download the font and put it in garrysmod/resources/fonts/. If a client does not have the font that a schema uses it will default to clockwork's theme.

 

Why is the font not downloaded to clients?

 

I'm not sure myself.

 

Might be a bad setup on the server (e.g. font not added to server files, missing in the Fast DL, etc.).

 

Maybe so. But wouldn't that mean a majority of servers are doing it wrong? Over the span of a couple years, and many different servers, I haven't been able to see the font until I manually installed it.

 

i could make make a workshop addon with a lot of fonts if that's something you guys would use/want

that way all you'd have to do as an owner is pop the addon into your server's collection and boom no more errors

 

Check your Options under the Multiplayer tab, you may have downloads disabled.

 

Nope, I don't.
