HL2RP What would you like included in HL2 BetaRP?

  1. So, I'm intrigued as to what elements of the HL2 Beta you'd like included if I was to create a HL2 Beta RP server.
    This includes the way that CP's act, the weapons they use, the ranking system they use - what citizens can do or are limited to, the loyalist system and how it is used, etc, as well as which map to use - or too have a custom map?
     
  2. Make the air filtration system active, and then make sure civillians start without a mask, so they just choke and die when they spawn. That'd be pretty cool. Lead to some good RP scenarios, too. Lot's of character building.

    (no but the air exchange is actually pretty cool)
     
  3. It isn't the 'HL2 Beta'. It's the concept artwork for Half Life 2, the only references of Half Life 2's concept artwork making it into source are various textures and a mockup map. Otherwise, the 'dark spooky' literation of Half Life 2 is the concept -- Not the beta. Half Life 2's Beta is a completely different than RTB and closely resembles retail, bud.

    Anyways this thread isn't needed. If you're doing HL2 'beta' then just download the pdf of Raising The Bar and read it yourself, it's free, otherwise, can we stop having these threads. They literally pop up every week -- It's called being creative and unique.

    I have read up on all the stuff, but I wanted to have some insight into what elements players would want included from "Concept" or "Beta" HL2, and which elements they wouldn't want or wouldn't work too well.
