Which servers do you think were/still are the foundation of HL2RP?

I always hear about LemonPunch and it's popularity but when I go on there's only about eight or so people and the roleplay there is quite terrible, even some to say "hurr durr lemonpunch is the founding father of HL2RP".

What servers do you think played a big role in getting HL2RP getting popular?

 

You seriously think LP is good, or heard it was good?

People who say it is good are either A: Braindead, B: Were suffocated during birth.

Seriously, LP is THE shit what's wrong with the GMod community nowadays.

 

I think you might've misread my post...
I dislike LemonPunch. A lot. I've had some of their people come on and threaten my community as well as my friend's with threats of DDoS and just general petty shit they can't accomplish.

LemonPunch likes to THINK it's a big hit but it's not.

 

This is what I can only assume the Owners, Admins or whoever is in charge of that horrid server only care about, regarding their server.

 

I remember about a year ago I found a small server, it was good.. sadly, it got no players and it shut down

I joined, found a RATION vendor and thought it was allowed to keep taking the rations. I took them and kept getting a shit ton of tokens, eventually got banned got myself unbanned then Geox helped me with RP.

A year later I got in to HL2RP.

Gridhive, tbh they have a pretty big playerbase.

 

SlideFuse played a big part I think, back on OpenAura base. As well as Catalyst-Gaming when it had a decent server.

 

They get like 8 players a day.

 

Time-zones, large amount of their players are Australian, including me. 25+ players 3 - 10PM AEST.

Holidays it's pretty much a full server.

 

i think quantum gaming was the best, since i've played on it since the very beginning which was the first day i started roleplaying, all the way until it shut down lol
