Why HL2RP is boring currently

Alright, my opinion on why HL2RP is boring currently is that every server is the SAME EXACT THING. The same exact lore, TnB filled, etc, etc. I've never seen a server in my life without TnB. Each server has an owner that gives himself the best ranks (SeC, DvL, maybe a resistance rank) or just OP chars. Then the staff get whatever they want also, then if the owner realizes he needs to fix the server, everyone will leave (The staff) because he decided to demote them. It's just that every server is just filled with someone that can annoy us (Whether it's from "custom" models to abusive admins"). Have you ever imagined a server that just used normal Half-Life 2 models and focused just on the lore which made it FEEL actually like Half-Life 2? I sure haven't. Each server I've been on, no offense to others, didn't really make it feel like Half-Life 2 exactly. It just felt like some odd server with a weird lore. I'm yet to see a good server, these are just my opinions why HL2RP is boring to me. Edit: No citizens passive RP at all and every server is basically CityRP. Legit, there are only a few outlands servers yet.

 

Sorry, wasn't this made, like 3 times in the past month?

 

What I want to see is Outlands RP, City RP isn't that great anymore, maybe a RP server where all it is is Passive RP and Survival where the Combine are no longer a threat, two factions, Human(s) and Vortigaunt(s)

You have to have some action, even if it's a tiny bit. You need action to keep people entertained enough.

Honestly I want a server to steer clear of HL2 completely, and go for something else. I don't really care if it's space, underground, anything brand new.

 

Survival would count as action since you could die from things such as antlions, zombies, headcrabs, the world around you, yourself, I thought up about this thing where basically it's a small army made up of former members of the Combine from Civil Protection and Overwatch Transhuman Arm where it's a bunch of guys (and girls) who have lost all of the major brainwashing but kept a small ammount making it so they think their mission is to restore Combine power into the world even though they left, but they have no power in the start, when the server would start properly with enough units and humans/vortigaunts, one would start from (insert base here, I would choose White Forest, I like maps with White Forest) and X Combine base (maybe an underground post or small base with landing pad)

 

What if servers had Joke RP that didn't interrupt RP but instead added RP, maybe a certain character is caught masturbating.

EDIT: Females aren't funny when they masturbate, sorry girls.

The suppression field only stops embryonic development.

Besides, I think most HL2RP servers are boring because they follow the wrong damn canon and don't teach people how to role-play enjoyably.

 

Actually, the only thing the suppression field does is prevent embryonic development, as said by Dr. Kleiner here:

I've basically left the whole HL2 lore, unless someone needs correcting. In this case, that being me.
