[WIP] Hatustries C18 Modification

  1. I doubt that snipers would be a huge issue in a part of the city that's supposed to be locked tight, but you pretty much proved my point with the combine augmenting buildings. Why don't you extend the building with the red bricks forward and then have the administrator move through that, with some sort of combine structure augmenting or going over the windows.
     
  2. That would mess up the map with the underpass of that building. I'll figure something pretty out for the bridge.

    should create a specific office for a SeC, CmD & 4 (or three) DvL leaders imo. Also another thing that I've failed to seen is a proper living quarters, medical bay, garage, 'off-duty' lounge & a shower of some sorts for cleaning yourself.

  5. The Sectorial has an office up-top, that I've modified, with the Overwatch room next to it. The Commander's office is going to be up the stairs in the lobby, and if you look at my screenshots, I added a new staircase in that lobby, that specifically leads to 4 DvL offices, all very spacey, so I'm way ahead of you. I'm also going to be adding a garage in the empty garage in the middle of the plaza, as well as a very big and thorough medical bay in the Nexus. The CWU Nexus is either going to be moved, or be left open for citizens.

    I've already added a very large Cafeteria/Mess Hall, but I was considering adding a locker room, and using the individual door plugin to give every individual ground unit a locker, and giving them a lock (with a combo) for that locker. I don't want to add a shower room or bathrooms or sleeping quarters because I'm still debating the whole "stasis" thing. But I want units to be able to take breaks and passive RP with eachother.

    imo only EpU+ units go into stasis, which can be debatable speaking of which, will we see a giant stasis room?
     
  7. That gave me a good idea actually. A barracks for ground units and officers, stasis for EpUs and up.

    pods dont actually put people to sleep
     
  11. Think of it like the cryo chambers from Halo. Spartan goes in, freeze, sleep, charge-up, wake. That's how I think of it at least.

  13. I can't picture a DvL or an EpU going into a bunk bed or a master bedroom and sleeping in a queen sized bed. Can you?

    i could understand having a separate area for them to sleep in, but why have fucking cryogenic storage

    augmentation needs power, it doesn't run on hope and dreams
    cryogenic storage seems very odd for augments however, augmented units would just recharge at a power station and carry on

    i think they'd sleep at a seperate sleeping quarters to reduce the risk of being killed in their sleep by an angry unit
     
  20. Map'll have the basic necessities for units. Starting spawn will be a big and thorough barracks, complete with showers, a bathroom, and a locker room with a locker assigned to each individual ground unit.

    For EpUs and up, there will be a unique little tightly locked room with stasis pods, etc.
