[WIP] Star Wars - The Old Republic

    Plotline:

    Star Wars: The Old Republic. The game-mode is based in the Old Republic Era, after Darth Malgus and his master conquer the Republic fleet guarding the sacred Sith grounds of Korriban. The Empire defeat the Republic and take over Korriban to begin training their new generation of sith. With this, comes a rebuilt Republic. The Empire concentrate their efforts in training the Sith for there next assault and special assignments. From here, new heroes emerge and new enemies are made. Throughout the galaxy, you are constantly faced up against talented foes. Deception and lies halt your walk to your destiny, and fear crumbles your self-integrity. Do you wish to fight for the light? Or succumb to fear and hatred, anger perhaps? Join the Empire? The decision is upto you... So... What path do you take?

    When is the game-mode based?
    The game-mode is based in the year 3,681 BBY, approximately 3,500 years prior to the first movie of the Star Wars franchise.
    This means there will not be any of the well-known character appearances, other than the traditional Old Republic renown characters. This will include the infamous, Darth Malgus, the Sith Dark Lord. There will be other renown characters taking part in the server, however, they will be kept low until release, where they will be shone to the users in the launch event. The world of Star Wars in this roleplay, revolves around the player.

    Game-mode features:

    World interactivity. The world reacts to the player, for example... If you are a Smuggler, and you smuggle weapons into the area of which the Republic and Empire are taking place, those weapons can then be stolen, destroyed or even used for the Emperial or Republican army, which then provides them with more weaponry, allowing them to fight the war longer, and so on.

    High-quality serious RP. We will not be accepting any kinds of poor RP, due to excessive amounts of rule-breaking possibilities. This means, teaching users will be required, should they wish to understand more about the game-mode.

    Interesting game-play. Depending on the path you choose to play down, may influence how your character will behave or act around the joint alliance. There are plenty of opportunities to start with, including cantina work, illegal work with the smugglers, applying to join an army. And many more different game-play elements to be added down the track, to ensure the most en-riching CW: Star Wars - The Old Republic RP possible.

    Player interactivity. This means that there are MINIMAL NPC usage. Most of the game-play provided on the game-mode will be created and inducted by the users themselves during their own RP. Should it be sipping down drinks in the cantina and a bounty hunter comes looking for your head... This includes admin directed events, NPC's are kept to a minimal to allow players to engage in proper RP with eachother, without constant un-realistic play by NPC path's around the map.

    Economy. Along with player interactivity, economy is driven mostly on player interaction. Maybe you have a rare antique, needed to be sold for someone in order for them to recieve a reward... They can pay you for it or do a bartering system... Or... They can outright attempt to murder you, which, would be FailRP unless proper reason is provided.

    Rules and Regulations. We have strict rules and regulations for the server to ensure the richest experience possible. We add to the amount of rules and regulations to stipulate the law of the community and server.

    This game-mode is currently a work in progress and requires alot of work. I have a staff team dedicating their time to searching for users and people to assist in the development of the game-mode.

    Our game-mode will feature:
    Skeleton built schema, offering MANY different commands and special game-play authenticity.
    Custom models, specially built and created FOR the community.
    Dedicated staff members always making changes and tweaking rules and game-play ideas to make the experience the best it can be.
    Custom SWeps and vehicles.
    A very unique map, not yet developed or seen by the gmod community. (Very large with large amounts of ground, large sky box, underground smuggling routes and many more)
    + Much, much more as time progresses.

    So basically you want people to do your job for you. Not happening.

    This project is a lost cause unless you as an owner actually go out of your way to make it succeed.

    Hi, i see there is some confusion.
    I am always looking for those that i need to creare the project, but my life takes priority.
    The project is not lost because of whaat you stated.
    I will love to prove you wrong, since i already jave the gamemode underway
    Just because im owner, does not imly i do everything.
    I have staff for a reason, assist me when i am busy.

    With that, see you in the future, where i can show this is not lost.

    This is merely a week old, this project.
    It is still in very early stages, nothing is official.
    I put this together to quickly show my efforts for people to look at.
    Sure, you don't like it, but it is early and I will be changing things.

    I do not understand why there is so much hate.

    1: Anyone that can code can make a swep, and convert models to sweps? Uhm, You can make it so you have it but the mag won't come out.
