Xerothermic-Gaming Half-Life 2 Roleplay Outlands Server

Hello, today I bring you a new server hosted under the power of [member=5359]Tommy[/member] ! I am only the one managing it and working on it. I have just got access to it and decided to run a outlands server on it and I am hoping that I can bring a new server to the C16 community that everyone can enjoy!

Why us?​

We are a new community breaching out and striving to give the best roleplaying experience for every new player or veteran players. We are working on getting the best content we can by reaching out for information on what the players want. Such as maps, content, factions, etc! Hopefully you can decide to choose to join our community and even make us a stronger community!

Staff​

We are looking out for staff members, we prefer mostly to have expert roleplayers that come from a community such as C16. We are looking for the current positions.

Factions​

Refugee

The prey of the outlands. Everyone is a refugee in the outlands, struggling to survive on the limited resources of food and water to survive. Everyone's fate can lay in your hands. You can hold the key to feeding everyone and arming everyone for the coming threats from the Combine that are ahead of you. You are the one who decides if you are friend or foe. Choose wisely.

Overwatch Transhuman Arm

The predator of the outlands. Based just down the tracks, preying on any refugees daring to come close enough to their base of operations. Only few run in the OTA in the coast. This can be acquired by roleplaying and standing out while doing it, donating, or by special recommendations. This is a very powerful faction and abusing it will result in a removal of your whitelist!

Assassin Class for OTA

This is a experimental, it will stay or leave depending on the voice of the community. (YOU!) If you would rather not have this leave a comment below! This is a class for the Overwatch, it is a very powerful class requiring good roleplayers that will be chosen by the staff and can be taken away easily if abused. Only 2-3 Assassin characters will be handed out to players.

Donating for positions?

Correct me if I'm wrong here, though.

 

Donations will only reach you to the first part of the OTA ranking system, it is more of a you do good you'll be fine. If your RP is terrible you'll lose it.

 

Combine Assassins are iffy.
They usually degrade to rogues and ERP.
Pls don't let that happen.
Or just remove them.

 

Will not let that happen, I know exactly what you are talking about. The massive amount of servers that had let that happen was insane. They will be just like OTA but with the assassins abilities.

In other words, I am proud to say we will be using rp_coast_03_05 from [member=4949]Corbulogistics[/member]

Server will open in less then a half and hour.

Metropolice Pack is a huge no no.

 

It's nice to see an Outlands server advertised for once, as much as I don't actually like the Outlands style roleplay. I don't really have any negatives, apart from the ridiculously long name but that's just me being picky. Perhaps spice up your thread a little? I don't know - good luck, man.
